“Beauty is honesty.” – Tatiana Ward

Makeup artist and educator Tatiana Ward is a woman on a mission: bring beauty into the world, one face at a time. At a very early age Tatiana discovered she had an eye for beautiful things, especially her mother's naturally glowing skin and makeup-less face. Setting the example that true beauty shines from within, her mother instilled in her the necessary skills it would take to leave her humble beginnings in Pennsylvania, and embark upon a rags-to-riches story of a lifetime!

Determined to let her creativity run free, Tatiana pursued a musical career for the greater part of her life. Singing was and continues to be one of her deepest passions, but as a 20-something living in Atlanta, the calling for all things GLAM started to kick in! Tatiana soon landed a job as a freelance makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics, and it was working behind those counters that she first fell in love with making other women feel beautiful.

Soon after she began scouring the internet to learn every technique she could, and stumbled upon a community of fellow-makeup-lovers on YouTube. Compelled to share her own story, Tatiana started to film herself in her bedroom. Not only was she learning in front of a camera, she was teaching millions of women all over the world how to apply makeup themselves. In what seems like the blink of an eye, Tatiana has amassed a huge YouTube following that has helped propel her into the top-tier of new-age beauty gurus using social networking as a means of free exposure. Tatiana's growing numbers, coupled with her talent, persistence and humble personality have trickled over into an Instagram frenzy, attracting celebrity clients Brandy, K. Michelle, Niecey Nash, SWV, Sommore and having her work featured on shows such as The View and Good Morning America. But that isn't where Tatiana's story ends! Nicki Minaj has recently been added to her client list, and can be seen wearing Tatiana's more natural makeup, as well as her wild and gilittery looks!

In an effort to give back to all the fans that have helped her along her amazing viral journey, Tatiana has taken her tutorial-style teaching methods on the road. Her Behind the Beat makeup classes are selling out all over the country. Tatiana is revolutionizing the way vloggers interact with their audience, bringing beauty straight to the faces of those that watch her daily. Tatiana currently works between LA and New York City, but travels on a monthly basis meeting her thousands of fans.

Visionary, Inventive, and Dynamic truly describes Mahisha Dellinger, President and CEO of CURLS. Founded in 2002 by Dellinger, CURLS continues to be one of the best recognized natural hair care brands in North America. As a beauty advocate and product innovator, Dellinger pioneered the newly natural hair market when she launched CURLS, a family of award-winning organic hair care products targeted for women embracing their natural textures ... a market previously unanswered by the beauty industry.

Dellinger’s business career began as a Marketing Manager at Intel Corporation. After a successful, yet enlightening experience in Corporate America, she quickly left to embark upon an entrepreneurial journey where she could control her own destiny. With just $30,000 of her savings, Dellinger created CURLS out of her frustration with the lack of effective products for natural and curly hair.

Today, Dellinger’s astute business acumen and natural talent for delivering market driven products has made CURLS into a multi-million dollar brand that continues to experience tremendous growth. As a "Modern Day Madame C.J. Walker,” Dellinger has singlehandedly built a strong demand for CURLS in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Africa and the United Kingdom. The company has multi-channel distribution, including retail, where CURLS products can be found nationwide in Target, Sally’s Beauty Supply, Wal-Mart, Rite Aid, CVS and Duane Reed, to name a few. CURLS also has a strong presence with countless professional salon retailers and boutiques across the United States.

Dellinger and CURLS have been featured on national television including The Talk on CBS and CNBC’s Street Signs, to name a few. Both have also graced such popular magazines as lnStyle, Essence, Glamour, Ebony, Juicy, Redbook, Lucky, Seventeen, Vibe, Black Enterprise, Elle, Modern Salon, Woman’s World and Parents, along with a host beauty and salon trade publications. A-List celebrities like Halle Berry, Alicia Keys, Nia Long, Tia Mowry, Blair Underwood, Ashanti and Yvette Nicole Brown also seek out and don the superior quality of CURLS products.

A highly sought after speaker, Dellinger has served as a panel expert for Black Enterprise Magazine’s Vision 20/20 Entrepreneur Conference and its Women of Power Summit. She has also spoken for the Texas Black Expo’s Diva Dialogue and served as the Keynote Speaker for her alma mater, California State University-Sacramento.

In January 2015, Dellinger will release her first book on her climb to the C-Suite. Published by Brown Girls Publishing, Against All Odds: From the Projects to the Penthouse, is a story meant to uplift and inspire. The book illuminates Dellinger’s journey from “the projects to the penthouse” and how despite odds, she found the will to not only survive, but thrive. Dellinger currently lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and 3 children. For more information on Dellinger and CURLS, visit
